Felicitation program held at UAP

A felicitation program for the newly enrolled advocates was organized by the Department of Law and Human Rights, University of Asia Pacific on 10 th  June, 2023 at UAP auditorium.

The program was started by the welcome speech of Md. Abdur Rahim, Assistant Professor and Head, Department of Law and Human Rights, UAP. Mr. Justice M. Enayetur Rahim, Hon’ble Justice of the Appellate Division, Supreme Court of Bangladesh was present as chief guest at the event.

In his speech, Mr. Justice M. Enayetur Rahim encouraged the newly enrolled advocate to contribute in establishing social justice and rule of law.

Later, Dr. M. A. Baqui Khalily, Acting Dean, School of Humanities and Social Science and School of Law, University of Asia Pacific delivered his speech as special guest.

Prof. Dr. Qumrul Ahsan, Vice Chancellor, UAP was also present there to grace the occasion. Besides, Department of Law and Human Rights also felicitated the Jessup mooters who got chance to participate in the Philip c Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition, 2023.

After distribution of crests among the successful advocates and Jessup mooters, the program came to an end with the vote of thanks by Mohammed Assaduzzaman, Associate Professor, Department of Law & Human Rights, University of Asia Pacific.
