UAP honours 20 students with ICPC-Jamilur Reza Choudhury Scholarship Award

A total number of 20 UAP students of Fall 2022 and Spring 2023 semester have been given the ICPC-Jamilur Reza Choudhury Scholarship Award in recognition of their merit.

The UAP Programming Contest Club of University of Asia Pacific (UAP) organized ICPC-Jamilur Reza Choudhury Scholarship Award ceremony on Sunday, 08 September 2024, at the UAP Auditorium.

In every semester, 10 awardees will be given this award, of which 6 are from the senior category and 4 are from the junior category.

Architect Mahbuba Haque, Chairperson, Board of Trustees (BOT), UAP; Dr. M. Alauddin, Member, (BOT), UAP; Mr. Monzoor Ahmed Chowdhury, Member, (BOT), UAP and Prof. Dr. Qumrul Ahsan, Vice Chancellor, UAP handed over the awards to the recipients.

Architect Mahbuba Haque said, we are here to celebrate the outstanding achievements of our talented students and honor the legacy of the esteemed Professor Jamilur Reza Choudhury, whose contributions to academia and the field of computer science continue to inspire us all.

Prof. Dr. Qumrul Ahsan said, we come together to recognize and encourage the future leaders in programming and computer science.

Among others, Prof. Dr. Md. Sultan Mahmud, Pro-Vice Chancellor, UAP; Prof. Dr. Sheikh Anwar Hossain, Treasurer, UAP; Prof. Dr. Aloke Kumar Saha, Proctor, UAP; Prof. Dr. Shah Murtaza Rashid Al Masud, Head, Dept. of CSE; faculty members and students of the Department of Computer Science & Engineering were present at the event.
